A la carte or À la carte (French) is one type of menu for ordering individual meals (ordering). Guests can choose any dish on the menu of the restaurant to call, depending on your preference. Different restaurants have prepared 8 dishes (for two people), 12 dishes for 3 people .....   
 
Depending on the tastes of each guest at the table. For Asian dishes such as Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai ... the menu à la carte still applies, but with a change. Because Asian dishes are made according to practices or to share, usually a dish with 2 servings, 4 servings, 6 or more servings ... so ordering this way of eating for people to call items matching the general interests and not extra or missing.
